Elaine + Brandon | Bridgewood Events Wedding in Galt, California

Elaine + Brandon’s wedding at Bridgewood Events in Galt was filled with exactly the kind of moments I love photographing—the big celebrations, the happy tears, plenty of laughter, and all of the little in-between moments happening throughout the day.

Elaine originally found my work through Dayna + Elijah’s wedding, and it was such a full-circle feeling getting to photograph her own wedding day.

A Wedding Day Full of Real Moments

From getting ready through the ceremony and reception, Elaine + Brandon’s day had so much personality. There were emotional moments mixed with plenty of fun, and once the reception got going, lots of dancing.

That balance is one of my favorite things about weddings. Some photographs are intentionally created—we choose beautiful locations, find great light, and I give direction when it’s needed. Others happen completely on their own. The hugs, reactions, laughter, and tiny moments between people are often the photographs that end up meaning the most.

My goal is always to capture both so that the final gallery doesn’t just show what the wedding looked like, but brings back what the day actually felt like.
