About Us

We’re Rachel and Mark Reynolds, a husband-and-wife team living on the edge of the El Dorado National Forest in beautiful Pollock Pines, California. Surrounded by the heart of Gold Country, from the shimmering waters of Lake Tahoe to the vibrant Bay Area, we’re constantly inspired by the world around us—and the people who fill it with meaning.

Rachel’s journey as a photographer began in 1995 when she was just 12 years old. Captivated by her grandparents’ photo albums—windows into their lives and legacies—she started capturing stills on film and filling her own family photo albums. She wanted to continue that tradition, preserving stories for future generations.

In 2014, Rachel officially launched her photography business, but life took an unexpected turn when her first husband fell ill. After his passing in 2016, she was more determined than ever to help people hold onto their most meaningful memories. By 2017, she relaunched her business with a renewed purpose: to capture life as it truly is—real, unfiltered, and unforgettable.

In 2020, Rachel met Mark through their shared love of music while playing together on the worship team at Pollock Pines Community Church. What began as a connection through faith grew into a partnership rooted in love, creativity, and shared values. The two were married in 2022 and brought their love story into their work. Together, they’ve built something that’s as much about people and connection as it is about art.

Our story together is one of love, loss, faith, and resilience. In May 2024, Mark’s 14-year-old son, Haven, was tragically killed in a car accident. Mark and our daughter Ophelia survived the crash, but it was a painful reminder of how fleeting life can be.

Together, we’re parents to three amazing children—Kyler (17), Mark’s son; Louie (15) and Ophelia (7), Rachel’s children. Our home is filled with life, laughter, and our four-legged family members: Lupa, our German shepherd-collie mix, Romulus, our English cream golden retriever, and our three cats, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, and Mango.

Our faith in God and Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything we do. We’re active in our faith communities—Mark still drums on the worship team where we met, and Rachel leads hymns as the chorister in our congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

When we’re not behind the camera, we’re outdoors exploring all Northern California has to offer. We love hiking the forest trails, soaking up the beauty of Lake Tahoe, and feeling the ocean breeze along the coast. These places, and the incredible stories of the people we meet, inspire us daily.

Our photography and films are deeply personal to us. We understand how fragile life is and how important it is to hold onto the moments that matter most. We’re here to capture your story as it truly unfolds—real, unfiltered, and uniquely yours—because love and connection are what last forever.
