Laura + Ryan have been connected since before they were born — their moms took Lamaze class together! — but they didn't get to know each other on a personal level until December 2020. Their first "date" was not really a date at all — Ryan gave her a ride to Boise — but they ended up talking through the entire eight-hour drive, and their first official dinner date followed a few days later. Years later, in November 2025, Ryan proposed at Laguna Beach, at sunset over a nice dinner — simple, special, and so them. On September 12th they married at The Farmhouse at Apple Hill in Camino, a venue they fell in love with, and their whole day felt as relaxed and genuine as they are!
They read private vows to each other at their first look before the ceremony, and the personal touches just kept coming — a seating chart made out of vinyl records, and a signature cocktails sign featuring their dogs! They told me from the start they wanted candid, documentary-style photos that felt timeless instead of posed. We slipped away for portraits at sunset, with that unmatched view — all of Apple Hill spread out below them. Laura shared a dance with her dad and Ryan with his mom, and the whole day — The Farmhouse itself, with all of Apple Hill spread out below it, and the vendor team who brought it all to life — was incredible from start to finish.
